Your hosts John and Liz welcome you to Little Lakes Retreat - relaxing, quiet and comfortable accommodation with beautiful views out over Rangaunu Harbour.
We are in the sub-tropical far north of the North Island of New Zealand - between Kaitaia and Ninety Mile Beach on the west coast and Mangonui and Doubtless Bay on the east coast.
You are encouraged to take advantage of our 40 acres and wander around the "Lakes". Go for a gentle kayak or put your feet up and relax with a nice cold beverage on the deck. We also invite you to join in with farm chores or enjoy your privacy.
Your nightly fee includes a continental breakfast which can be eaten on the deck or in your dining room. For your evening meal, you are able to cook for yourself on the barbecue or, with prior arrangement, we will happily cook a meal to share. Bring your own food or we can stock the fridge with whatever you require - just ask for details. Also there are many excellent restaurants in Kaitaia and Doubtless Bay.
John milks a house cow each morning so there is plenty or milk, cream as fresh you can get and home-made butter. We also have home made jams, jellies and pickles, etc. Fresh seasonal vegetables come from our garden.
